Australia's first and only Self-Correcting Awning System

We get this questions every week, what are the differences between Polysatin and PVC, most People assume that they are the same thing but the 2 couldn't be further from each other in terms of durability and strength.

LUXAFLEX POLYSATIN SHUTTER

Luxaflex PolySatin Shutters are virtually maintenance free. They are not painted, so they will never peel and need re-painting. Fashioned from a technologically advanced Polyresin compound, they will not blister, peel, flake, corrode or fade, and are UV-stabilised for many years of performance in even the harshest climates. The non-porous surface makes them the perfect choice for bathrooms, kitchens and high humidity areas. Luxaflex PolySatin Shutters are unaffected by water or wood-destroying organisms, and meet the certification requirements set by Greenguard® for Low Chemical Emissions.

PVC SHUTTER Constructed with 100% PVC extrusion, each blade has an aluminium insert for additional strength and durability. Full PVC shutters are 'virtually' waterproof and most Competitors claim they are ideal for bathrooms, kitchens and laundry rooms. PVC is a heavier material and is therefore more suited to standard sized and small windows. The painted shutters are finished in a modern 2-pack polyurethane paint that provides a durable finish.
